Read Roos series 2 is such a delightful set of 9 books with silly , funny rhymes to help your child remember the sound of the word. The images are so simple and appealing. Book 1 called Letter Pals helps children to see the relationship between letters and how they sound. Book 8 Twelve Months names the months has them rhyme with an activity for that month. Simple and to the point. At the end of each book there is a question Can you find? or what did? which is a great feature to engage young readers, develop their observation skills and have a starting point to start a conversation with your child. There is also a bonus book called Rhyming and Reading game where the reader tries to match the picture with the word. From my experience most children love this activity.
